About Us

NPBRC is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization that promotes and shares the athletic, health, educational and social benefits of rowing throughout our area. We work with our community in the common goal to enhance the recreational quality of our local waterways. NPBRC was formed in January, 2007, by former rowers who are committed to spreading our love of the sport throughout northern Palm Beach County and surrounding areas.

Our Mission: To promote and develop the sport of rowing in the Northern Palm Beach community and to provide the opportunities, equipment and facilities for our membership to participate in competitive and recreational rowing events throughout the region.

At the end of the day, it's all about having a good time out on the water. Come see what we're about!

Curious what our water is like? Check out about 7km of our training route, from the club north. There are another 5km or so south to Lake Worth that are not shown in this video.

What We Do

We're a relatively new club but we're well on our way to meeting our goals, which are to...

* Offer “Learn to Row” programs open to the general public that provide a fun, safe way to learn the sport

* Offer a Youth (high-school) team, open to all local high-school students, that competes successfully throughout the region

* Support at-risk and disadvantaged kids through participation in a rowing program and via other improvements to the school

* Offer a robust Masters (adult) team open to area adults of all experience levels who are interested in learning the sport and participating in local and national regattas

* Build a permanent, LEED certified water-sports facility in our area that will provide storage space for club equipment and a home base for practices

* Finally, encourage an atmosphere of camaraderie and cooperation that will allow us to positively affect our local community.

Consider giving to the Boathouse Fund to help us bring a first-rate facility like this to

our area.

(This is not our boathouse...yet!)

In the meantime, NPBRC is in the hunt
for new or used 4+/x, 2-/x, and Eights
to join our fleet.
