We’re very fortunate to have a lot of wonderful things at NPBRC. Wonderful friends, great water, perfect temperatures, and a really incredible team. But for years, we’ve been missing out on one of the key components of any successful large program: A race-worthy 8+ person rowing shell. A new 8+ will let us reach more kids, grow our team, and compete at the highest levels of our sport.

Rowing shells aren’t cheap; new 8+s cost roughly $40,000. We are committed to keeping costs low and keeping our sport accessible to kids from all kinds of backgrounds. Which is why we’ve partnered with the Honda Classic as a participating charity in their “Birdies for Children” campaign. Birdies for Children (BFC) raises funds for youth programs of all kinds – programs like ours who serve our surrounding community and make positive impacts in children’s lives. We just happen to think that making rowing accessible to kids is one of the best ways we can make those positive changes.

We’ve set a goal of bringing the raised amount shown on the BFC website to $50,000 by February 27th. Through BFC, Honda will match every donation to NPBRC 10%, which means your contribution toward our goal goes as far as possible. With every donation of $20 or more, you also get to guess the number of “birdies” that will be made by the entire field by the end of the 2019 Honda Classic. If you guess correctly, you have a chance at winning a brand-new 2019 Honda.

Select “North Palm Beach Rowing Club” at the link below! We are 100% volunteer run and your donation through BFC is tax deductible. Thank you!
