On Saturday, June 2nd from 9am-12pm North Palm Beach Rowing Club will host a free Open House in Bert Winters Park, 13425 Ellison Wilson Rd. in Juno Beach, as part of USRowing’s “National Learn to Row Day”. NPBRC will have coaches, current adult and youth rowers, and equipment on hand to teach any and all visitors about every aspect of rowing.
Doors open at 9am sharp, rain or shine, and the event will wrap up by 12pm. Visitors can stop in at their leisure during in that timeframe. This annual event offers a prime, no-obligation opportunity to see what this Olympic sport is all about. NPBRC will have indoor rowing machines, shells of all sizes, and other equipment on hand for on-the-water demonstrations and basic instruction.
“Learn to Row Day” is observed at rowing clubs around the country on Saturday, June 2nd. This event is a fun and engaging part of NPBRC’s community outreach each year, often drawing sizable crowds of curious onlookers, prospective youth rowers, or adults who just want to try their hand in a sleek racing shell. It is free and open to the public.
