WHAT WE OFFER
LEARN TO ROW PROGRAMS
Open to the public, these programs provide a fun, safe way to learn how to row under the watchful supervision of our coaches and adult members. LTR classes will have you looking at the Intracoastal in an entirely new way.
YOUTH TEAMS
Open to middle and high school students, grades 6-12. NPBRC’s teams train on site and compete successfully across Florida and nationally. Our Youth Program is open to students from any area school. We instill teamwork, sportsmanship and discipline while training hard and having fun. Join us to build friendships that last a lifetime.
MASTERS TEAMS
Open to area adults who want to learn the sport, enjoy our waterways, or participate in local and national regattas. We have both competitive and recreational groups. No prior experience necessary – we’ll teach you all you need to know.
WHO WE ARE
NPBRC is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization formed in January, 2007, by rowers, coaches, veterans, and community leaders who are committed to bringing our love of the sport to the next generation. We do this through classes, programs, and outreach and a world-class youth rowing program that is without equal in our state.
Rowing is a sport that unifies; it has the power to bridge generations, demographics, and other social divides and in doing so, enrich our community across generations. This is why we exist.

We build athletes of character who can succeed at the highest level of sport and life. Our world-class coaches, the best at their craft, have a proven track record of building resilient and thriving teams while opening opportunities to kids for college scholarships, national team participation, and national and international level competition.
Under our coaches’ watchful eye, NPBRC’s young athletes discover the joy of competition, the importance of dedication and commitment, the meaning of sportsmanship, and a deep trust and respect for themselves and their teammates.
