Boat Storage Request & Waiver

Only masters members or youth program participants in good standing may be allowed to store personally owned rowing shell(s) or other approved property at NPBRC’s Site. Storage space is limited; space is on a first come, first served basis. The club reserves the right at its sole discretion to have the item(s) removed from the premises. Cause for an item’s removal may include but is not limited to membership lapse, failure to pay rental/storage fees on time or other circumstances that are considered detrimental to the club. It is the member’s responsibility to provide payment of fees when billed. Indoor space is not guaranteed if requested.
All boats, trailers, equipment, and personal property stored on Boat Club premises, or placed under the custody, care, or control of the Club, are stored entirely at the owner’s sole risk. The Club, its officers, directors, employees, and volunteers assume no responsibility and disclaim all liability for any loss, theft, damage, sinking, deterioration, or destruction of such property from any cause whatsoever—including, without limitation, fire, weather, wind, waves, water intrusion, flooding, collision, vandalism, pests, equipment failure, or the acts or omissions of any person, whether foreseeable or unforeseeable, including negligence. By storing property on Club premises or entrusting property to the Club, the owner releases, indemnifies, and holds harmless the Club and its agents from any and all claims, demands, and causes of action arising out of or relating to such property
Owners are solely responsible for maintaining appropriate insurance covering their boats and property. The Club may move, haul, launch, or relocate boats or trailers as necessary, without liability.
If a member requests or authorizes the Boat Club to transport any boat, trailer, equipment, or personal property to or from an event, regatta, practice, or any off-site location, the member acknowledges and agrees that such transport is performed solely as a courtesy. All property transported by or on behalf of the Club is moved entirely at the owner’s sole risk. The Club, its officers, directors, employees, and volunteers shall have no responsibility and expressly disclaim all liability for any loss, theft, damage, delay, or destruction occurring during loading, unloading, handling, towing, trailering, transport, or temporary storage associated with such transport, whether caused by road conditions, weather, equipment failure, accidents, or the acts or omissions of any person, including negligence. By requesting transport, the owner releases, indemnifies, and holds harmless the Club and its agents from any and all claims arising out of or relating to such transport.
