Thanks
for visiting! "NPBRC" is a non-profit organization dedicated to
promoting and developing the sport of rowing in Palm Beach County and
surrounding areas. We're relatively new but are already on our way to
becoming one of South Florida's best new club teams.
Recent feature on NBC's Today show with Princeton's crew
Rowing,
one of the original Olympic sports, continues to grow in popularity.
Title IX and the NCAA have brought significant strides in collegiate
rowing, which is now a varsity sport with scholarships at over 80
colleges and universities in the US. That, in turn, has been a catalyst
for high school rowing programs all over the country. And because the
physics of rowing delivers an outstanding workout with low joint impact,
it truly is a life-long activity that keeps rowers on the water through
their 70s and 80s.

Don't
let this website fool you. Our young club shows incredible promise, and
we want you to be a part of it! Rowing is a team sport unlike any
other. Come see what we're all about and become part of "The Crew".
