Donate to the Boathouse Fund
NPBRC’s Capital Campaign to build a world-class rowing center in northern Palm Beach County is underway, and we need your help to bring this vision to fruition. This rowing center will support NPBRC’s thriving youth and adult athletic programs and allow us to expand programs and services to a broader range of citizens. Your investment will support an organization with a proven track record of delivering rowing programs that teach life skills to kids and promote physical fitness to all ages and abilities, with a special emphasis on youth development and outreach to economically disadvantaged groups, disabled athletes, and wounded veterans. “The Boathouse” will become the centerpiece of Bert Winters Park and will allow NPBRC to expand programs and services to a broader range of citizens.
Opportunity to Grow
- The North Palm Beach Rowing Club has a lease agreement with Palm Beach County that allows it to operate out of Bert Winters Park in Juno Beach, Florida. The club has been based there since its inception in 2007.
- Youth rowing is growing rapidly in Palm Beach County, and NPBRC’s programs now need a permanent, safe, and secure new home.
- Because Palm Beach County has forged a new agreement with NPBRC, we are required to raise $4 million for land improvements with greater community access to secure their lease for up to 50 years.
- The club has formed a design and construction committee and has launched a fundraising campaign. The Build the Boathouse campaign is underway!
Naming Opportunities
To honor your family, a rower, or a loved one, naming opportunities are available and give donors the opportunity to have a lasting impact on the boathouse. VoLo Foundation has secured the naming rights for the boathouse structure with it’s donation of $1.5 million. Other naming opportunities are listed in the adjacent table.
